The Debian developer Josselin Mouette successfully accepted Tomboy as the next Debian version (codenamed Squeeze). This does not seem to be a big deal. It only adds a 50 MB Tomboy program to the installation package. However, it is worth noting that Tomboy needs Microsoft, which is under the responsibility of Mono-Novell. NET Framework open-source implementation-this means that Mono will also enter the Debian default installation package. Apparently, Debian does not care about using specific patents held by Microsoft. Mono entering Debian is good for Debian and Microsoft, but it cannot guarantee that Microsoft will not file a patent infringement lawsuit.
