My ms SQL SERVER2005 has been idle for a long time and is usually connected to the public development server. To save resources, set it to manual start and stop. I want to use it today, but I find that it cannot be started.
Prompt me to go to the Event Viewer. The reasons are as follows:
The file "C:/Program Files/Microsoft SQL Server/MSSQL.3/MSSQL/DATA/mastlog. ldf" has been compressed, but does not reside in a read-only database or file group. The file must be decompressed.
I don't know why. It may have been because the system automatically compresses the disk. But I opened the folder and observed that this file is not a ZIP or rarfile. Copy it, delete it, restart it, or not, and prompt that the file cannot be found. Therefore, replace the copied file.
Restart again. However, this prompt indicates that other files are compressed. Note that the downloaded file is normal black, while other files are highlighted in blue. As a result, copy, delete, and restore them, and then start again. OK.
How did this happen?
