MYSQLBLOB Data Type in
BLOB is a large binary object used to store a variable amount of data. BLOB types include TinyBlob, Blob, MediumBlob, and LongBlob,
The only difference between these types is that the maximum size of the stored files is different.
Size of four BLOB types in MySQL (in bytes)
TinyBlob Max. 255
Blob Max 65 K
MediumBlob up to 16 MB
Up to 4 GB LongBlob
BLOB columns store binary strings (byte strings), and TEXT columns store non-binary strings (character strings ).
The BLOB column does not have a character set, and sorts and compares values based on the column value bytes. The TEXT column has a character set that sorts and compares values based on the character set.
BLOB is a binary string, TEXT is a non-binary string, both of which can store large amounts of information.BLOB stores images and audio information.,
TEXT can only store TEXT files.
SQLSERVER
SQLSERVER does not have BLOB data types, but only large object data types (BLOB ):
Text, ntext, image, nvarchar (max), varchar (max), varbinary (max), and xml Data Types
These data types are stored on the LOB data page.
