MyEclipse 2016 CI 1 supports remote WebSphere connector and myeclipsewebsphere

MyEclipse 2016 CI 1There are many new features that Web developers will like, including Live Preview, JavaScript debugging with Map support and hot-swap features. In addition, remote WebSphere server, Hibernate 5, and CSS3 are supported.

Live Preview

Web developers can continuously view HTML and css changes in the JavaEE development stream, without the need for browser plug-ins or activating debugging sessions. In addition, you can view these changes in multiple browsers and simulate mobile devices. Maybe you use JSP to create dynamic web content. With the advent of Live Preview, JSP will serve as an experimental Preview function and is limited to static blocks. More improvements to Live Preview will be released in future CI versions.

Remote WebSphere Connector

2016 CI can connect to a remote WebSphere server. You can even use this remote method to debug code without installing WebSphere locally.

Note:For MyEclipse users who are still using the old version, Remote WebSphere supports up to MyEclipse 2014, but we recommend that you update it to MyEclipse 2016. Remote WebSphere is more flexible and easy to use in the new version.

JavaScript Debugging: Source Maps

The JavaScript debugger supports Source Maps. You can debug your Source code, even when your code is modified, according to its steps. For example, you can place breakpoints and traverse. ts (TypeScript) or. coffee (CoffeeScript) files.

The Source Maps function is automatic and does not need to be started. The JavaScript debugger loads maps in your runtime script and uses them to reference the source code. For more functions of Source Maps, refer to this document:

JavaScript Debugging: Hot-Swap

This function is used if you want to modify JavaScript in debugging. Once the code is modified and saved, the JavaScript debugger extracts the changes. You can continue debugging without restarting the debugging area. Currently, Hot-Swap only supports Web application debugging and Node debugging.

Hibernate 5.1

Hibernate 5.1 can be used for independent Java applications, Java EE applications, and even a JPA 2.1 provider. MyEclipse has provided a new Hibernate function library, such as Hibernate search.

CSS 3

You can now easily set CSS rules on the CSS Source preference page. These settings can also overwrite the project layer. MyEclipse 2016 uses CSS 3 as the standard by default.

Some CSS 3 attributes and keyword definitions are also updated to provide you with the latest code prompts.

Other key fixes:

• The Reports project created in MyEclipse 2016 CI 0 cannot be deployed normally. CI 1 fixed this problem.
• The tag is updated in the workspace, but the tag on the Breadcrumb Toolbar is not synchronously updated. CI 1 fixes this issue.
• Fixed some key-binding problems in MyEclipse.
