To create a JSP page in Myeclispe, the default encoding for the JSP page is "Iso-8859-1", as shown in:

There is no way to save a JSP page under this encoding, and the following error message appears:

So you can set the JSP default encoding to Utf-8, the following steps:

Start MyEclipse, click Window on the menu--->preferences

In the popup dialog box, click Myeclise--->files and Editors--->jsp, as shown in:

You can now see the JSP encoding Settings panel, as shown in:

In the encoding that drop-down box, select UTF-8 encoding, as shown in:

In this way JSP default encoding is set to UTF-8, the next new page, the page encoding by default is the use of UTF-8.
