Upgrade Method:

One:in-place Upgrade involves turning off the old version of MySQL, replacing the old version of MySQL with the binaries or packages into a new (System library replacement, and software replacement), restarting MySQL to the existing data directory, running Mysql_ Upgrade.

Two:logical Upgrade involves mysqldump exporting the existing data in the old version, installing the new version of MySQL, loading the dump out of the data into the new MySQL version, running the Mysql_upgrade.

Three: Through the master-slave replacement, the MySQL5.6 version is made and then switched.
