1) stop mysql service and net stop mysql

2) execute mysqld -- skip-grant-tables;

3) open a new window, keep the original window, and execute

Mysql-u root

Update mysql. user set authentication_string = password ('rocky') where user = 'root' and Host = 'localhost ';

Flush privileges;

Quit;

Restart your computer. Execute net start mysql

Run mysql-u root-p

Enter the password *****

Install navicat premium

Create a connection

Login, password expired

Solution:

In the successfully logged on doc window, run set password for 'root' @ 'localhost' = password ('root ');

Log on to navicat premium again.

Enter root to log on.
