mysql5.7 after installation, a random password is generated and you need to see Cat/var/log/mysqld.log when you log in.

There's a randomly generated password inside.

[Note] A temporary password is generated for [email protected]: 2hh,ukrypj-k

After successful login, you will be forced to change your password first.

Change Password will be error

ERROR 1819 (HY000): Your password does not satisfy the current policy requirements

The reason for this is that MySQL enhances security and requires more stringent passwords.

Alter user ' root ' @ ' localhost ' identified by ' 2hhukrypj-k ';
