MySQL Cannot insert Chinese solution

I am in the database connection process, found unable to insert the Chinese value. The reason is that the default encoding for MySQL is latin1, and you only need to change the encoding to UTF8.

In the Command line window of MySQL, enter

Status

The current encoding will appear. Locate the My.ini file in the MySQL installation directory, replace Latin1 with Uft8, and on the command line enter

Set Chatset ' Uft8 '

Restart the MySQL service.
