Import a Database

To import a database:

Use the source command with the following argument as the script file

The code is as follows	Copy Code
Mysql>source D:222.sql

(Note: If you write source D:222.sql, you will report a syntax error)

To export a database:

1. Export the entire database

Mysqldump-u user name-p database name > exported file name

The code is as follows	Copy Code
Mysqldump-u wcnc-p SMGP_APPS_WCNC > Wcnc.sql

2. Export a table

Mysqldump-u user name-P database name Table name > exported file name

The code is as follows	Copy Code
Mysqldump-u wcnc-p SMGP_APPS_WCNC users> wcnc_users.sql

3. Export a database structure

The code is as follows	Copy Code
Mysqldump-u Wcnc-p-D--add-drop-table SMGP_APPS_WCNC >d:wcnc_db.sql

-D No data--add-drop-table add a drop table before each CREATE statement

Export garbled problem

mysqldump If you do not specify an encoding export may appear garbled, mysqldump specify the encoding after the export database

mysqldump--default-character-set latin1-uroot-pxxx database name >/tmp/old.sql

Similarly, the same is true for exports:

Mysql-u root-p--DEFAULT-CHARACTER-SET=GBK database name < E:back.sql
