MySQL character encoding

For mysql5.5 above.

Windows platform:

\s View the character encoding of the server, Db, Client, Conn, and the inconsistency should be changed to consistent

Unified character Encoding:

New My.ini in MySQL installation directory, add content, can refer to My_default.ini file contents

[Mysqld]  Character-set-server=utf8collation-server=utf8_general_ci[client]default-character-set=utf8[mysql]   # command line when typing MySQL, use the configuration under this tab default-character-set=utf8user= "root" password= ""

Linux platforms:

Typing command vim/etc/my.cnf
