MySQL imports *.sql database with shell command

Use phpMyAdmin to import the database, but there are file upload size limits, upload time, timeout and other issues, the use of shell commands more convenient.

First step: Open cmd. Start--> cmd

Step two: Switch to MySQL installation directory

D:
CD D:xamppmysqlbin step three: Start MySQL, enter username password

Mysql-u root-p
Enter Password: ******* step Fourth: Select Database

mysql> use jklei.com//jklei.com Replace with your database step fifth: Import *.sql

mysql> set names UTF8;
Mysql>source D:jklei.com.sql
