MySQL inserted Chinese record garbled

1, modify the configuration file My.ini Set encoding method is Utf-8

[Client] default-character-set=UTF8 [mysqld]character-set-server=UTF8 collation -server=utf8_general_ci init_connect= ' SET NAMES utf8′

Then you have to delete the originally built DB, re-build and develop the character set as UTF8, such as:

CREATE DATABASE ' jay_db ' DEFAULT CHARACTER SET UTF8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci;
