MySQL installation configuration (single MySQL installation)

MySQL installed on C drive because there are registration files and registry

1. To prevent MySQL data table from getting larger and SQL log increase change C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.7\my.ini point to File

Datadir=d:/mysql/data point to this disk when you copy the C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.7 Data file to the d:/mysql/folder to configure the MySQL environment variable C:\Program Files\mysql\mysql Server 5.7\bin command line start service net start MySQL shutdown net stop mysql enter database mysql-u root-p if root set password Mysql-u root -p123456-p directly after the password or execute mysql-u root-p
