MySQL Master-slave replication

My.cnf

Master

Log-bin = Master-bin

Log-bin-index = Master-bin.index

Server-id = 1

Configure restart, take effect

Create a master replication user

Create user repl_use;

Grant Replication Slave on * * to repl_user identified by ' password ';

Grant replication Slave,reload,create user,super on * * to user @ ' address ' with GRANT option;

Slave

MY.CNF file Additions

Server-id = 2

Relay-log-index =slave-relay-bin.index

Relay-log = Slave-relay-bin

Point slave to Master

Change Master to Master_host = ' IP address/computer name ', Master_port = 3306, master_user= ' Repl_user ', master_password= ';

Start slave;

Modify MySQL default password

Append my.cnf file contents and restart:

[Mysqld]

Skip-grant-tables

Skip-grant-tables

Enter MySQL to enter and modify the default password

Use MySQL;

Update user set Password=password (") where user= ' root ';

Flush privileges;

Quit

Remove the append skip-grant-tables and log in with the new password after restarting.
