MySQL modify data file storage directory

1. Stop the MySQL service;

2. Modify/ETC/MYSQL/MY.CNF

DataDir modified to a new directory;

3. Cp-r-p/var/lib/mysql to the new directory (copy with-p, keep the file attributes unchanged);

4. Change the owner of the new data file to MySQL

Chown-r mysql:mysql/data/mysql/(My new data file is placed under/data);

5. Modify/etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld

Change the following two lines to a new directory

/VAR/LIB/MYSQL/R,

/var/lib/mysql/** Rwk,

6./etc/init.d/apparmor Restart

7./etc/init.d/mysql restart

Complete!

The percent I toss today for half a day, because there is no 5th and 6th steps above.
