MySQL performance test conclusion

It seems that zdnet's lab has done an authoritative test.
Performance of sqlserver in Windows
Performance of Oracle and MySQL in Linux
Comparison (there are other database systems, such as DB2 and Informix)

As a result, under 500 concurrent connections, sqlserver is only a little weaker than Oracle and MySQL, and better than other database systems! However, by 750, the distance began to be extended. After 1000, all database systems would not work. Only MySQL was still chasing Oracle closely, and the performance of sqlserver was the worst. After 1200, SQL Server became the last one, weaker than all database systems involved in the test.
In addition, Oracle is the most powerful from beginning to end, but MySQL is always very tight. On average, the performance is only extended from 1000 concurrent connections to Oracle.
