Mysql replace ()

Source: Internet
Author: User

I have talked about using the update and replace functions in mysql to replace the specified content in batches. In fact, the method is very simple.

The syntax for batch replacement is as follows:

The Code is as follows: Copy code
UPDATE table name SET
Specify field = replace (specify the field, 'replacement string', 'desired string ')
WHERE condition;

If you want to replace "solve" with "free" in the content field of the record whose ID is less than 5000 in the article table, the syntax is:

The Code is as follows: Copy code

UPDATE article SET
Content = replace (content, 'resolution', 'release ')
Where id <5000;

You can define where later.
