MySQL resets root password with Mysql.exe

1. First in the C disk we create a TXT document renamed it "Mysql-init.txt", the contents of the document we entered
Update Mysql.user set Password=password (' newpasswd ') where user= ' root ';

Flush privileges; Note: One of the newpasswd can be changed to the MySQL password you need to reset

2. Click start → run →cmd, enter CMD command line, first input net stop MySQL stop database service

Then enter the MySQL installation directory under the Bin directory, the following image for the MySQL installation directory in C:/mysql/mysql Server5.1/bin


3. Input command mysqld--init-file=c://mysql-init.txt carriage return


4. Password reset successful, again in the cmd command line input net start MySQL start the database service
