The first time I uninstalled MySQL has not been uninstalled cleanly, at that time did not work, directly reinstall the system to solve. Until today, I met this problem, hadn't ah, on the Internet to check a variety of information, with a half-day to solve, to the final discovery is actually very simple, so now write an article to be used for the next time the uninstallation.
1. Stop the MySQL service in the service
2. Control Panel Uninstall MySQL
3. Delete the entire folder in the MySQL installation directory
4. Delete the MySQL data file in the C drive, my is in the Programdata, this folder is hidden, can be set in the folder options to display hidden files. If you can't delete it, you can delete it by shredding software.
5. Go to the registration form to delete the MySQL registration file, then it is not deleted here, we recommend that you look carefully, the registry entry method: Start and run regedit
Open the hkey_local_machine->system->controlset001->services to see if there is a MySQL-related folder in the directory, and if so, delete it. Then go to services->eventlog->application and delete the MySQL-related folder.
In the same vein, repeat these actions in the Controlset002,currentcontrolset folder.
6. Shutdown restart, check whether the service also has MySQL service, if there is, stop the service, then go to cmd to execute SC delete mysql, preferably run cmd as an administrator, after successful display [SC] DeleteService SUCCESS. MySQL last configuration in the third step of the error cannot create Windows service for mysql.error:0 is also the same workaround.
The fourth step error may be that the above steps are not deleted.
