MySQL Startup and shutdown

1. Normal start

/etc/init.d/mysqld start

This mysqld is a copy of the Mysql.server in the installation package , as follows

CP Support-files/mysql.server/etc/init.d/mysqld

See if the port is up

NETSTAT-NULTP |grep 3306

To see if there are related processes

Ps-ef |grep MySQL

And the fact that MYSQLD is calling the Mysql_safe command to start

Mysqld_safe--user=mysql &

That's starting MySQL.

General shutdown

/etc/init.d/mysqld stop

mysqladmin-uroot-p123456 shutdown

Warning: The database is best not killall mysqld or Pkill mysqld or the like, because after the killing there is no risk! The risk is very big!
