MySQL Step over the pit (a) mysql start or link failed

Sometimes when you start a MySQL database with a command mysql-u root-p or a server, it throws an exception and fails.

The following are the anomalies that have been encountered.

1, 1) Thrown exception: Error 2002 (HY000): Can ' t connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock ' (2)

Use the command to resolve this command:/usr/local/mysql/support-files/mysql.server restart

2) Cause: One of the possible reasons is that the database was previously used without a graceful shutdown, and the thread status display did not end.

Use command: PS aux | grep MySQL
