MySQL user password

Method 1:
Under/usr/local/MySQL/bin:
./Mysqladmin-u Root Password 'new _ password'
This method is usually used for installation.

2. Change the password of another user as the root user:

Mysql> set password for 'root' @ 'localhost' = PASSWORD ('abc ');

Mysql> set password for root = PASSWORD ('abc ');

You can change the password, but an error is reported during use and the corresponding user cannot be found.

3. the user changes his/her password.

Mysql>Set Password = PASSWORD ('biscuit ');

Modify the root password when you know the root password.
Add -- skip-grant-tables when mysqld is started, change the password immediately, remove-Skip-grant-tables, and then OK.
