MySQL UTF8 encoding settings

1. When the database is established, the specified database db_test is UTF8 encoded. ：

Create database db_test character set UTF8;

The commands to modify the database Db_test encoding are:

ALTER DATABASE db_test character set UTF8;

2. Check the current database encoding settings.

　　Show variables like '%character% ';

Show variables like '%collation% ';

The default is generally latin1.

3. Modify MySQL Encoding

　　Set names UTF8;

Equivalent

SET character_set_client= ' UTF8 ';

SET character_set_connection= ' UTF8 ';

SET character_set_results= ' UTF8 ';
