MySQL utf8 settings

To support Chinese characters and unified character sets, we use the utf8 character set.

First, modify my. ini (MySQL configuration file) and add the following content in the following configuration block:

 

1. [client] # Client Connected to MySQL (including the applications we have compiled)Program)

Default-character-set = utf8

2. [mysqld] # server-related settings

Character_set_server = utf8 # compatible with v5.5 settings

Default-collation = utf8_general_ci

Then, run the following command to check whether our settings are correct:

1. View character sets

 

2. View sorting rules

3. If you execute a Table query in cmd (or terminal) (The table contains Chinese data)

Mysql> set character_set_results = GBK;
