Public addresses are used on the Internet and are freely accessible on the Internet. Assigned by the IANA.

A dedicated IP address is an IP network that is reserved for use within an organization's private network and can be reused by different organizations, including: 10.0.0. The subnet mask is 255.0.0.0 and the 172.16.0.0 subnet mask is 255.240.0.0, The 192.168.0.0 subnet mask is 255.255.0.0.

Private address the Internet is the use of NAT to the public address, the same external access inside is the reverse. The NAT work process is as follows:

(1) NAT clients need to communicate with the Internet and send packets to the NAT server.

(2) The NAT server converts the source port and the private IP address in the packet to its own port number and public IP address, and then sends the packet to the host on the Internet. The mapping relationship between the source port and the dedicated IP address, along with its own end product number and public IP address, is also recorded for subsequent process use.

(3) Hosts on the Internet will respond to public IP addresses that are sent to the NAT server.

(4) The NAT server converts the destination port number of the received packet and the public IP address to the client's port number and the dedicated IP address based on the mapping relationship and forwards it to the client.
