New Release | Azure image market officially launched, and azure officially launched

The Azure image market, operated by 21 vianet, was officially launched in the Chinese market in September 21, 2016, setting up an all-in-one portal between customers and software developers. Cloud applications, cloud services and solutions from global and local leading software developers and based on Azure are directly available in the portal; chinese Azure customers can obtain various third-party applications and services for Azure in the image market, and enjoy a one-stop self-service platform experience. In this integrated platform, customers can easily browse, search, and select a series of third-party applications and solutions, and quickly deploy them to Azure instances with one click.

The Azure image market will expand the product portfolio of the Azure ecosystem. The Azure image market can now provide applications and services from well-known vendors such as Citrix, Array Networks, and Check Point, as well as products of security vendors such as hillstone, F5, and qingsong, won the bid for popular domestic products such as Qilin, Zen Road, Transwarp, and Kyligence, as well as open-source products widely used in Wordpress, LAMP, MongoDB, and Bugzilla.

The Azure image market provides three types of products:

• Virtual Machine image:Pre-configured Virtual Machine images (VMS) with installed operating systems and one or more applications. You can deploy a single image to any number of virtual machines.

• Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template:The Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template can reference multiple applications and virtual machines, so that customers can deploy one or more products in a consistent manner.

• Solution directory:For products that customers cannot directly obtain from the image market, the image market displays links, charts, or product directories to direct customers to the publishers, you can also provide guidance on how to obtain and use products on Azure.

• The Azure image market now provides business applications, Development and O & M tools, software architectures, open-source products, and other types of cloud applications to meet different customer needs. The first batch of more than 80 Azure images from 30 software developers were launched. Currently, free and BYOL are supported.

  The image has been verified by the Azure technical team before it is available, so that the customer can deploy and use the image with one click at ease and quickly, with just a few mouse clicks, deployment can be completed in several minutes or even weeks.
