Installed MySQL boot error the server quit without updating PID file

[[Email protected] mysql]# service mysqld restartmysql server PID file could not being found! Failed Starting mysql.the server quit without updating PID file (/[failed]ysql/l

OCALHOST.LOCALDOMAIN.PID).

Troubleshooting ideas:

1. Check if the my.cnf file exists

2. Check if the data path exists in the my.cnf file

Datadir=/usr/local/mysql/data

My problem did not find datadir caused, add again start OK

But the specific error message can be viewed Localhost.localdomain.err error log
