Nginx will add a dynamic module for users to modify the server
Nginx will add a dynamic module function and an SaaS-based monitoring tool Amplify to make its Web server more flexible and better managed. This dynamic module and Amplify technology were both announced at this week's nginx. conf conference.
After the dynamic module is added, the module developers can more easily share the expansion of Nginx Web servers. Owen Garret, product director of Nginx, said that it was very challenging to create a module before Nginx was created because the Nginx server cannot be modified after the module was constructed and released, the dynamic module allows additional functions to be added to Nginx.
With Amplify technology, users can register their Nginx instances with free SaaS products, and monitor CPU usage, network, communication, memory and disk. "This is a tool that helps you manage and monitor Nginx," Garret said.
When an error occurs on the Nginx instance, an alarm is triggered, and you will receive configuration instructions. Currently, users can only configure them by themselves, so they may not be able to achieve the desired effect. About a month later, Amplify released an incomplete beta version. If you are interested in this beta version, you can register with Nginx.com.
