HTML5 introduces a lot of new form properties and input box types, and although not all browsers support them, they are really useful:
Autofocus automatically sets the input focus for an input box after the page has finished loading
Placeholder allows you to set default text for the input box and automatically clear when the focus is taken
The required property requires that a value must be filled before the form can be submitted
Pattern allows you to specify what the input box can enter by using regular expressions
Because these features are built-in and do not need to be implemented with JavaScript, the first is to save development time while also making the page more adaptable.
