No image can be searched by date in Vista.

1. Open "Windows Image Library ".

2. In the Navigation Pane under shooting date, perform any of the following operations:

(1) To view all images taken in a specific dating period, click this year in the Navigation Pane.

(2) to narrow down the selected photo to a month, click this year, and then click a month.

(3) to narrow down the selected photo to a specific day, click this month, and then click a day. Images taken within the selected time period are displayed in the photo gallery.

Tip: You can search in the search box to further fine-tune the results and search by information such as file name and level, so that you can more easily find specific images of this period. You can create custom information called tags and attach them to images to further improve the image search and sorting methods.

The digital camera records the date and time of the photo. When an image is transmitted from a camera to a computer, the date and time are stored on the computer and stored together as part of the information. Unfortunately, this information is not always correct.

For example, if you take some photos in different time zones, the recording time of these photos may be several hours away. The camera may also set an incorrect date and time. Or, if you scan a photo, the date will reflect the scan date, not the date of the photo. All these deviations can be adjusted.

(1) Open "Windows Image Library"

(2) If the information pane is not displayed on the side of the window, click "information" on the toolbar to display it.

(3) Click the image you want to change. To select several images, press Ctrl and click the images you want to change.

(4) Click the date at the top of the Information pane.

(5) Click the arrow next to the date and then click the correct date on the calendar.

(6) Click the date at the top of the Information pane.

(7) Select the correct time.
