No optical drive option in the ThinkPad laptop boot list

There are two possible causes for no optical drive option in the boot list:
1. The optical drive is not in the BOOT sequence list.
2. No optical drive or drive damage to the computer
There is no optical drive boot failure, as shown in the figure:
If you are sure that the computer has an optical drive, but the BOOT list does not have the optical drive option, it may be because the optical drive is not in the BOOT sequence list, but is excluded from the list. You need to reset the BOOT list, take Thinkpad L440 as an example:
1. When you see the ThinkPad Logo at startup, continuously press Enter, as shown in the figure:
 
2. When the Startup interrupt menu appears, press F1 to enter the BIOS system, as shown in the figure:
 
3. After entering the BIOS, select the Startup option and then select the boot option, as shown in the figure:
4. Press the Enter key to enter the Boot option, use the up and down arrow key "& uarr;" "yellow" select ATAPI CD0 MATSHITADVD-RAM WJ8G2 (drive Boot item), and press "Shift +! (1 at the bottom of the F1 key) "combo key to enable the optical drive option, as shown in the figure:
After enabling ATAPI CD0 MATSHITADVD-RAM UJ8G2 (drive boot item) is called to the boot list, as shown in the figure:
After the instance is restarted, the optical drive options are displayed in the boot list, as shown in the following figure:
If the above method is invalid, it may be that the computer does not have a built-in optical drive or the optical drive is damaged. The method is as follows:
If you cannot access the system, you can find the button in the drive on the right side of the computer. The button is usually located in the middle of the drive and there will be an indicator nearby, it can be determined that there is no optical drive
