First: PHP --version command cmd does not change with the PHP version in Wamp, the PHP command will be installed with Wamp : wamp/bin/php/php5.6.25[Version] Automatically or manually added to environment variables,

Second: changing PHP version in Wamp does not affect the environment variable value of PHP
