Office software tips to quickly browse long Word documents

When editing a long document, because the document content is very large, if you can establish some direct return directory links in the document, for the document browsing and viewing will be very convenient computer application skills. Using cross-references in Word2003 can help users quickly browse word long documents.

The 1th step is to determine the insertion point first. Enter the words "(return)" in the appropriate place and place the cursor after return. Then click the insert → reference → cross-reference menu command.

Step 2nd, then select the referenced content. In the Cross Application dialog box that opens, click the Drop-down button to the right of the reference type Drop-down list box and see in the Open Drop-down list that Word can refer to the contents of numbered items, headings, bookmarks, footnotes, endnotes, tables, formulas, and charts. At this point, select the caption option, the default content in reference content is heading text, and then select the first part of the title from the quote, and create a reference that returns a content summary. Finally, click the Insert/Close button to establish the reference.

Step 3rd, and finally test the effect of the reference. After the reference is established, the specified reference content is automatically inserted at the cursor stop, holding down; CTRL key and click here to return to the target location. Create multiple cross-references in the text as required by the document, which makes it much easier to document browsing.
