Ogengine is an open-source game engine developed by orange games based on Java that supports cross-platform. Ogengine complies with the Apache license 2.0 open source protocol.
The ogengine cross-platform version has made significant changes to the previous version. The first version of ogengine was released in a rush and received enthusiastic feedback from developers. We were not fully prepared for the introduction, documentation support, and version release of ogengine, it also brings inconvenience to some developers.
At the time of cross-platform release of ogengine, we have sorted out and adjusted the introduction, version number, and open source Association of ogengine. The detailed rules are as follows:
1. The cross-platform version of ogengine is named after v2.x. The previous versions are revised to v1.x.
2. because the ogengine cross-platform v2.x engine has made great adjustments and modifications in terms of its architecture and principles, it has basically abandoned the original v1.x engine (the v1.x engine is developed based on andengine for secondary development ); therefore, ogengine v2.x is no longer based on andengine.
3. ogengine adopts the Apache license 2.0 open source protocol.
