Recently in the Oracle data migration, from one server to another server up, encountered a variety of problems, such as the introduction of DMP files, encountered IMP-0009 error, tossing for a half day, found that I was connected to the server export DMP file, The Oracle client version is inconsistent with the Oracle version on the server, causing the resulting DMP file to actually be corrupted, so it cannot be imported into the Oracle database of the new server.

Summary: It's a good idea to keep Oracle version and environment consistent to avoid problems.
