Oracle Database Official statement does not support VMware

Source: Internet
Author: User

Oracle explicitly stated on its official support website in January 2013 that it does not enable VMware to run Oracle database.
In the current era of virtualization rampant, how can we do it well?

I have the following suggestions:
1, if it is an individual user, this is not much of a relationship, after all, we test most of them are still running on VMware, and no serious problems have occurred.
2, if it is enterprise users, and all the system architecture has been used VMware, but it is recommended that your database or alone to do, after all, the online system which day problems, need to find the original, is stuck here is not good, and the more complex the structure, the more involved in the manufacturers of the more things will be more complicated.
3, if you are a database service provider, it is best to provide customers with different solutions, be sure to remind the end user, in order to avoid problems after autumn accounts.
