Oracle Database officially states that it does not support Vmware and oraclevmware

Oracle explicitly stated on its official Support website in September that it does not Support running Oracle databases on VMWare.
What should we do in the current era of virtualization?

I have the following suggestions:
1. If it is an individual user, this does not have much to do with it. After all, most of our tests are still running on Vmware, and there have been no serious problems.
2. If you are an enterprise user and all the system architectures use Vmware, we recommend that you use your database separately. After all, if something goes wrong with the online system, you need to find the original manufacturer, it is not good to be stuck here, and the more complicated the architecture is, the more involved manufacturers will be more complicated.
3. If you are a database service provider, it is best to find different solutions for customers. Be sure to remind end users to avoid any problems.

If a problem is a known Oracle issue, Oracle support will recommend the appropriate solution on the native OS. If that solution does not work in the VMware virtualized environment, the customer will be referred to VMware for support. When the customer can demonstrate that the Oracle solution does not work when running on the native OS, Oracle will resume support, including logging a bug with Oracle Development for investigation if required. If the problem is determined not to be a known Oracle issue, we will refer the customer to VMware for support. Does oracle Database no longer support VMware?

What does this mean?
I have installed ORACLE on VMware's LINUX Virtual Machine. At least 10 Gb is normal. The same is true for windows virtual machines.

Oracle Database Connection With vmwarevm

I guess you failed the network debugging. Can the host and virtual machine be pinged to each other? The NIC of the virtual machine must be set as a bridge to establish the network.

If the two machines have successfully formed a LAN, it is easy to connect to the database. You two machines should not start the firewall or anything.
