The Backup command supports the creation of a copy of the database image. Rman can generate an image copy through the backup as Copy command.

Rman>backup as copy tablespace Users;

Image copy of data file:

Backup as copy datafile 1;

Backup as Copy datafile ' D:/app/administrator/oradata/orcl/dave0. DBF ';

8.3 Copy of control file

Backup control Files:

Backup current Controlfile;

To create a copy of the control file:

Backup as copy current controlfile;

To create a control file for backing up a database:

Backup as copy standby controlfile;

You can also specify aliases at the time of creation:

Backup as copy standby controlfile format ' D:/backup/controlfilecopy.ctl ';

8.4 Archivelog Image Copy

It is useful to generate archived redo log replicas. A redo log copy using Oracle's Logminer product Mining (Mine) archive is obviously more heavy than having to extract the archive from the backup set first

It's easier to make a log. You can create an archived redo log copy by using the Archivelog parameter of the copy command. Unfortunately, you must list the redo days for each archive when using copy Archivelog

Log name, and you cannot specify the time range for the redo log of the archive to be replicated.
