Remote Connection database reported ORA-12638 credential retrieval failed, identity card retrieval failed

Find the Oralce product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/neteork/admin (slightly different versions), locate the Sqlnet.ora file, and open
Find Sqlnet.authentication_services= (NTS) and change the NTS to none.
