[Original] How to uninstall hidden device drivers in Windows

Over the past few days, I have been trying to download an arpg game that can be used for multiplayer games on the LAN. In order to be able to connect to other students in the same LAN, I learned about the virtual LAN technology and tried two software based on this technology. One is the vnn client and the other is the VLAN.

Vnn client is an application software based on the virtual LAN technology. It has a wide range of applications, powerful functions, and convenient use. Unfortunately, it is a commercial software and can only be used for 6 days.

VLAN is a game combat Platform Based on this technology. Similar to haofang and VS, we are familiar with it. What's different is that it has many game servers that haofang and vs do not have, for example, some arpg.

Unfortunately, VLANs are no longer supported (once supported, the game I downloaded is a long time ago). I have to unmount the VLAN for the game I downloaded. The process of VLAN uninstallation went smoothly, but later I found that the driver of the ipve adapter installed when the VLAN was installed was not uninstalled together. Because I need to dial up the Internet in the dormitory, the "ipve adapter" still exists in the NIC selection list during dial-up, so that I can find this problem.

Only when I searched the internet, I found that many of my friends encountered the same problem. I think that the driver is a problem. Just go to [Device Manager] and uninstall the driver. However, the device cannot be found under network adapter in Device Manager, for example:

Next, I found a small tool for driver uninstallation on the Internet, but it could not solve the problem. The author concluded that the device is probably hidden by the system. As expected, there is a "display hidden devices" option under the "View" menu in the "Device Manager", for example:

After clicking this option, I finally found "ipve adapter" under "network adaptation", right-click the device, select "Uninstall", and restart the computer. After dialing the Internet again, the "ipve adapter" disappears from the selection list. So far, I have finally completely uninstalled the VLAN.

Finally, I hope this article will be helpful to my friends who have encountered similar problems.
