Photoshop CS Draw Compact Ballpoint pen

first, draw the pen
1. New file, size is 12cmx12cm, resolution is 72dpi.

2. Open the Paths (path) panel and rename the new Path1 to "pen". Using the Pen tool, draw the pen shape, as shown in Figure 1.

3. Activate the "pen" path, create a new layer, named "pen". Select the gradient (gradient) tool, set the linear (radial) gradient type, click the sample edit gradient, and set the gradient color from red to white, as shown in Figure 2.

Pull the gradient color along the horizontal of the pen shape. Next, select the inner Shadow (inner shadow) on the layers panel to increase the volume of the pen. Set opacity (opacity) to 36%,angle (angular) to -30,distance (distance) to 10,size (size) to 18, cancel the check with the use global Light (using the Globe Light), and others as preset values.

4. Next, draw the middle light on the pen. Create a new path named "Pen in the Light", drawing the shape of Figure 3.

5. Activate the path "pen in the light", back to the Layers panel, select feather (feather) command, set the value of 5. Select the new adjustment layer/level (new adjust Layer/level) command in the Layer menu to set the output levels (export black dot) value to 110.

6. Next, create a new path called "Pen high Light" and draw the shape shown in Figure 4. Activate the path, select the feather command, and set the value to 10. Fill White.

7. At One-third of the pen there is a decoration, a new path, named "Pen decoration", painting as shown in Figure 5 shape.

8. Activate the path, create a new layer on top, and name it "pen decoration." Select the gradient tool to pull a gray gradient horizontally. Then select the Bevel and Emboss (Guide and Emboss) commands on the Layers panel, set the Pillow emboss (embossed) type, Depth (depth) to 91%,size (dimension) to 1,angle (angle) to 122, Altitude (altitude) is 42, others are preset values. The effect after execution is shown in Figure 6.

　　 second, draw the core of the pen

1. Next draw the refill. Create a path that is named "refill." Draw the shape shown in Figure 7.

2. Create a new layer below the pen layer, named "Refill". Activate the path, select the Gradient tool, and set the white to gray gradient color.

3. Select the stroke (tick edge) command on the layers panel. Set the dimension to 1,position (position) centered and color (color) to light gray. The effect after execution is shown in Figure 8.

　　Third, draw the pen pin

1. Next, draw a ballpoint pen pin.
2. Create a new path, named "Pen Pin". Draw the shape shown in Figure 9.

3. Create a layer on top of the layer, named "Pen Pin". Select the gradient color of the same pen core and pull a gradient horizontally. Then select the Hook command, set the size is 1, the position is centered, the opacity is 80%, the fill type chooses the gradient, and the gradient angle is 90. The effect after execution is shown in Figure 10.

4. Next, draw the shadow of the pen pin. Copy the path "pen pin" and rename it "pen pin shadow" to move the path and modify it slightly.
5. Go back to the layers panel and create a new layer under "pen pin" named "Pen Pin Shadow". Activates the path with the same name and fills the black as shown in Figure 11.

6. Finally, create a layer on the bottom and name it "shadow." Select the Brush tool, select a feather Brush board, set the foreground color to black, draw a pen below the pen core of the ballpoint pen, and set the layer transparency to 38%. Then, in the connection between the pen and the core, use 1 pixel points, but also to draw a little shadow generation level. At this point, a ballpoint pen on the painting completed, as shown in Figure 12.

Only a pen is not enough, do not worry, we can also have more different colors of ballpoint pens, the layer is laminated, copy 4, using hue/saturation (chroma/saturation) to adjust chroma
