Introduction:
This tutorial is mainly for beginners, and the author explains how to use channels to handle the color levels and sharpness of pictures through examples.
A friend sent me a picture and asked me how to get the color levels back and do a little bit sharper. Open the picture a look, sure enough color level is very weak, the petals are not clear. But this kind of picture has the same feature: its details are hidden in the channel, not you can not do it, but you do not know.
First step
Enter the channel panel and observe the red, green and blue channels respectively. Can be found in the green channel is very rich in light and shade, the flower of the three-dimensional sense is strong. The red and blue passages lost a lot of detail.
Second Step
CTRL + A Select all, CTRL + C copy, enter the RGB channel, CTRL + V paste. As you can see, the green channel is made as a new layer placed above the
Third Step
Change the blending mode of this layer to "lightness", the level is back?
Fourth Step
Press CTRL+J to copy this layer and change the blending mode to linear light. This is how many levels there are. However, the color of the image is somewhat distorted, our intention is to use it to add sharp. (Figure 05)
Fifth Step
Use filters-Other-high contrast retention to observe the image settings. Smaller values can get sharp edges, and larger values can get a significant level. This oneself grasps.
Finally, because the image itself is not high, so after the production will be some noise, you can go deep to the noise. Look at the final effect of the comparison
