Make a super compact light beam wallpaper
Good design does not necessarily need to pursue complexity, as long as good composition, even with the simplest lines can make excellent visual effects. As the following tutorial: The author uses a small number of elements, a bit of transition color block, plus a few lines and some smaller points, the effect is very gorgeous.
Final effect
1. Create a new document, fill the background with a hexadecimal color of 2a3b4d, or any color you like.
2. Use the selection tool or path tool to draw your own curve, or to draw a shape similar to the one shown above. I'm usually on the side of the curve with the heart, filled with white. (This is, of course, the new layer).
3, right click on the layer (note that click here is the layer thumbnail), select layer pixel. Click on the eyeball icon to change the layer to invisible. Then create a new layer, keep the selection, take the white to white transparent gradient, and drag with the linear gradient tool, as shown above.
4, follow the steps above you can get similar to the results shown in the above figure.
5. Create a new layer, create a white transparent radial gradient, and then set the layer blending mode to overlay mode (this is key to ensure the uniformity between the light and background color), the padding is set to about 50%, so that it blends with the background color.
