First, the installation of MySQL

Running the MySQL installer (mysql-essential-5.1.40-win32.msi)

Select Install type is Custom

Click the Change button to modify the installation directory

Change installation directory to D disk (can be changed according to your system)

Click the Install button to start the installation

Setup will begin installing MySQL into the specified path

During the installation, there are some ad spots next skip.

When the installation is complete, the following interface appears, select the Configrue the MySQL Server now option, and then click the Finish button

Click on the Next button to start configuring MySQL, please refer to the selection in the picture for the configuration options.

Note here that you must select Charater Set as UTF8

Set a password for the MySQL root user
