PHP Remote connection Server error.
$host = ' remote server IP ';
$root = ' user name ';
$pwd = ' password ';
$con = @mysql_connect ($host, $root, $pwd);

@mysql_select_db ("XS_CQC", $con) or Die (Mysql_error ());
My connection to the local database is normal, but the connection to the remote report this error.
Access denied for user ' ODBC ' @ ' localhost ' (using Password:no)
What does this mean?

Link the remote database to the account with remote link permissions
Executing in the database
