Linux Decompression Installation phpMyAdmin
phpMyAdmin is a MySQL management tool that directly manages MySQL from the web.
Because my Apache is installed in the source code, so the root directory of the hosting page is/usr/local/apache2/htdocs.
1. Placing the phpmyadmin-3.4.5-all-languages.tar.gz in the/usr/local/apache2/htdocs;
2. Decompression:
# tar ZXVF phpmyadmin-3.4.5-all-languages.tar.gz
3. Rename the unpacked folder to phpMyAdmin:
[Root@rhel5 Htdocs] #mv phpmyadmin-3.4.5-all-languages./phpmyadmin
4. Locate the phpmyadmin/libraries/config.default.php file, copy the config.default.php to the phpMyAdmin directory, and then change the name to config.inc.php.
5. For the config.inc.php file VI edit:
A. Find $cfg [' Pmaabsoluteuri '] modify the URL of the phpmyadmin you will upload to the space:
such as: $cfg [' pmaabsoluteuri '] = ' http://192.168.1.11/phpMyAdmin/';
B. Find $cfg [' Servers '] [$i] [' host '] = ' localhost '; (usually with the default, there are exceptions, you can do without modification)
C. Find $cfg [' Servers '] [$i] [' auth_type '] = ' config ';
Debug in your own machine with config, if the space on the network with cookies, here we have already added a URL, modified to cookies, here we recommend the use of cookies.
D. Find $cfg [' Servers '] [$i] [' user '] = ' root '; MySQL user (MySQL username, using root in their own machine;)
E. Find $cfg [' Servers '] [$i] [' password '] = '; MySQL password (mysql user password, your own server is generally the MySQL user root password)
F. Find $cfg [' Servers '] [$i] [' only_db '] = '; If set to a db-name, only (you only have one data to set it; If you are on this machine or want to build a server, then the recommendation is left blank)
G. Find $cfg [' defaultlang '] = ' en '; (This is the choice of language, en represents the meaning of Simplified Chinese, here do not know whether to fill GBK)
H. Save after Setup is complete.
6. Test: Enter http://192.168.1.11/phpMyAdmin/in the browser
