Due to the frequent use of powerdesigner in daily data modeling, the use of reverse engineering to generate models more quickly improves efficiency, so the summary is used as follows:

1. Installing the ODBC driver for MySQL

CONNECTOR/ODBC 5.1.13:

Http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.1.html

Select the win-64 MIS installation package and proceed directly to install it.

2. Configuring the OBDC Drive connection

Select Control Panel, System and security, management tools-->ODBC data source

3. Open PowerDesigner:

1) New physical model, file--

2) database->connect to a Data Source

Fill in the basic information

4) Start Reverse generation

OK, wait for the build to be ready.

Note: The WIN10 I use is the same for Win7. PowerDesigner is version 16.5
