Practical optimization after CentOS 7 Installation
1. Install nux-desktop software source
This is a software source provided by a netizen. Although it is provided by an individual, the software quality is good, as long as you pay attention to and set the priority (yum-plugin-priorities) during installation ), it can still be used. After this is installed, the player automatically searches for and installs the required software package to play in a closed-source format such as mp3, and then we can listen to mp3 songs.
# Yum-y install epel-release
# Yumrpm-Uvhhttp: // li. nux. ro/download/nux/dextop/el7/x86_64/nux-dextop-release-0-5.el7.nux.noarch.rpm
2. Install shadowsocks-qt5
This is a client of shadowsocks. It is relatively stable and is recommended.
# Vim/etc/yum. repos. d/librehat-shadowsocks.repo
[Librehat-shadowsocks]
Name = Copr repo for shadowsocks owned by librehat
Baseurl = Signature/
Skip_if_unavailable = True
Gpgcheck = 1
Gpgkey = https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/librehat/shadowsocks/pubkey.gpg
Enabled = 1
Enabled_metadata = 1
Priority = 13
# Yum install shadowsocks-qt5
3. Install the dash-to-dock plug-in.
This plug-in is applicable to gnome-shell and is one of the most popular plug-ins.
Download dash-to-dock@micxgx.gmail.com.v22.shell-extension.zip
Open the tweak-tool and open the downloaded zip file under the shell-extensions tab.
Configure the plug-in according to your preferences.
4. Set the shortcut key for quickly enabling the terminal
You only need to select "keyboard-Shortcut Key" in settings"
Select the custom shortcut key and add a new project named gnome-terminal. Then set the shortcut key.
