Problems with C + + functions returning array pointers

Source: Internet
Author: User

Remind me:
int *func ()
{
int a[10] = {5};
return A;
}
is illegal, because a is a local variable that is applied to the system stack, the local variable is destroyed after the function is returned, and the pointer you return to is a piece of memory that has been reclaimed by the system, so access is illegal.
int *func ()
{
int *a = new INT[10];
A[0] = 5;
return A;
}
is legal, a section of memory requested by the new operator is on the system heap, its destruction is not controlled by the system, and is controlled by the programmer, so if there is an int *ret = func (), the RET will be used after the use of a timely delete RET, otherwise it may cause memory leaks.
